Platform Overview
The Voltimax IoT Platform lets you monitor and manage distributed energy systems - batteries, solar installations, EV chargers, inverters, and meters - from a single place. Equipment installed across one or more sites sends live measurements to the cloud continuously, giving you a real-time and historical view of your energy flows.
What You Can Do
- Monitor your equipment - See live readings from every connected device: battery charge level, solar output, grid import/export, and more.
- Track energy over time - View trends and compare periods to understand consumption patterns, peak loads, and generation.
- Manage energy automatically - Configure strategies that control how your battery charges and discharges - for example, staying grid-neutral or shifting consumption to cheaper hours.
- Receive alerts - Get notified when something falls outside expected ranges.
- Manage multiple sites - All locations and their equipment are accessible from one account.
How It Works
A small piece of software called a gateway runs on-site and reads your equipment continuously. It sends those readings to the cloud where they are stored and made available in the dashboard. You can also send commands back - for example, telling a battery to charge at a certain rate - and the gateway will carry them out.
